The 2019 Regional Leadership Gatherings will focus on the epidemic of loneliness among older adults – the causes, how to recognize it, and most importantly, how the church can provide the solution by offering connection, community, and a relationship with Christ.

Whitney Brooks, integrative health coach and NCBAM Advisory Team member, will share insights on the importance of purpose, the power of connection, and the many health risks associated with isolation and loneliness.

Mark Smith, Senior Consultant for the Baptist State Convention and NCBAM Advisory Team member, will explore the role of the church in addressing loneliness as well as devotional resources from NCBAM and the BSC. (Wendell speaker: Samantha Allred)
