Rampin’ Up! 2020 will be held April 25 and May 2, 2020 in conjunction with NC Operation Inasmuch.

Reduced mobility and the lack of a safe way to exit their homes leave many frail adults trapped. This enforced isolation can lead to loneliness, depression and other adverse health effects.

Healthcare professionals link the effects of social isolation and loneliness with high blood pressure, depression, cognitive decline, and a 30% increased risk of premature death.

Wheelchair ramps provide the road to hope! They improve quality of life for those who rely on wheelchairs or walkers, or who have difficulty navigating steps. Ramps reduce fall risk and allow easier and more frequent access to church, healthcare, and social activities.

NCBAM can put you in touch with an aging adult in your community! Matching grants are available for reimbursing building supplies during Rampin’ Up! 2020. Put someone on the road to hope today! Call NCBAM at 877.506.2226.
